Pilot draft for review
Service area and availability
We offer pickup and delivery within Bremerton, subject to address review, route capacity, and the two-family pilot limit. A submitted form is a pickup request, not a confirmed booking. We confirm each pickup window with you directly.
Scheduling is flexible rather than fixed. Requested dates and times are preferences only. We may decline or waitlist a request if the address, item mix, timing, or available capacity cannot be served safely within the promised turnaround.
Turnaround
Standard turnaround is within 48 elapsed hours from the confirmed pickup to return delivery. The 48-hour period does not begin when you submit the request form. We won't confirm a pickup until return capacity is available within that period. If an unexpected delay occurs, we'll contact you promptly with a revised delivery plan.
What we accept
We accept everyday items suitable for a normal household washer and dryer:
- Everyday machine-washable clothing
- Towels
- Sheets and ordinary pillowcases
During the pilot we do not accept:
- Comforters, duvets, sleeping bags, rugs, pet beds, or other bulky items
- Dry-clean-only or hand-wash-only items
- Items requiring hanging, pressing, ironing, air drying, or other special finishing
- Leather, suede, fur, wedding or formal garments, or high-value specialty garments
- Laundry contaminated with hazardous chemicals, pests, sharps, excessive bodily fluids, or other unsafe material
- Items that are excessively soiled or otherwise unsuitable for household equipment
If an unserviceable item is found after pickup, we'll separate it and return it unprocessed. Please don't send irreplaceable, unusually valuable, collectible, or sentimental items during the pilot.
Preparing your laundry
Please empty every pocket and remove jewelry, pens, cosmetics, electronics, and any loose objects. Let us know about any known color-transfer risk, damaged fastener, or delicate trim before pickup. We use reasonable care but can't guarantee we'll find every pocketed or hidden object, and an item that appears unsafe to process may be returned unprocessed.
Washing, drying, folding, and detergent
You choose fragrance-free or scented detergent for each order. Fragrance-free is an option, but the pilot does not operate an allergen-free, fragrance-free, or dedicated-machine facility — shared household equipment may have residual contact with detergents, fragrances, pet allergens, or dyes from other laundry. We follow visible care labels when reasonably identifiable. We make no stain-removal, sanitization, disinfection, hypoallergenic-processing, or odor-removal guarantee.
Pricing
Recurring service
- $2.50 per pound, 13-lb minimum
- Pickup and delivery included
- Minimum service charge $32.50, before any applicable taxes or approved extras
Pay-as-you-go service
- $3.25 per pound, 13-lb minimum
- $7.99 pickup and delivery fee per order
- Minimum order total $50.24, before any applicable taxes or approved extras
No coupon, enrollment fee, automatic subscription charge, or specialty-item surcharge is included in the pilot unless separately approved and disclosed before service. Laundry is weighed at intake before washing; orders below 13.0 pounds are billed at the 13-lb minimum. You may request the recorded intake weight.
Payment
No payment is collected when you submit a pickup request. After intake weighing, we send an itemized invoice showing service type, billable weight, any minimum adjustment, pickup/delivery fee, and any applicable tax. We never request card details through website notes, text messages, email, or voicemail. Payment method and timing are confirmed with you before service. (Being finalized: payment processor and invoice flow.)
Recurring service
Recurring service is available on a usual cadence agreed with you directly, with no long-term contract during the pilot. You may skip or cancel a future pickup without charge by notifying us before the driver is dispatched. If a driver has already been dispatched and the order is unavailable, we may charge the actual $7.99 trip fee, but no per-pound service charge. (Being finalized: exact intervals and skip/cancel cutoff.)
Pickup and delivery
Exact pickup and return instructions are confirmed with you directly. Laundry should be bagged, closed, dry, and ready at the agreed location. You're responsible for safe, lawful access and for securing pets. Unattended porch handoff happens only when specifically arranged; before confirmed pickup and after confirmed delivery you assume the ordinary risk of weather, theft, or third-party interference, except where caused by our failure to follow the agreed instructions.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- A request may be cancelled at no charge before dispatch.
- If laundry is unavailable or access is impossible after dispatch, we may charge the $7.99 trip fee.
- If we must reschedule before pickup, you may accept the new window or cancel without charge.
- After pickup, cancellation may not be possible once processing has started; you're responsible for work already completed and any return trip.
Quality concerns and rewash
Please report a washing, drying, folding, or detergent-preference concern within 48 hours after delivery and keep the affected items available for review. When the service didn't reasonably match the confirmed order, we may offer a complimentary rewash, service credit, or refund appropriate to the issue. Rewash doesn't cover pre-existing stains, permanent odors, normal wear, care-label limitations, or items outside the accepted scope.
Damage and loss
We use reasonable care, but ordinary laundering carries risks including shrinkage, color loss or transfer, loose decorations, weakened seams, and damage caused by age, fabric condition, manufacturing defects, foreign objects, or inaccurate or missing care labels. Report a missing or damaged item within 48 hours after delivery with a description and any photos. If we determine our handling caused direct loss or damage, the proposed remedy is reasonable current replacement value considering age and condition. (Being finalized: a published per-item and per-order liability limit, pending insurance and Washington legal review.)
Refunds and credits
Billing errors will be corrected. Refunds, credits, or rewashes are assessed according to the specific service issue and returned through the original payment method when the processor permits. Delivery fees and completed service charges are not automatically refundable when service was performed as agreed. Nothing here waives rights or obligations that cannot legally be waived.
Right to refuse or discontinue service
We may refuse, pause, or discontinue service for unsafe or unsanitary laundry, abusive behavior, repeated missed handoffs, unpaid balances, inaccurate service information, requests outside our scope, capacity limits, or conditions that could damage people, property, items, or equipment. Any outstanding laundry will be returned through a safe, documented arrangement.
Pilot capacity and changes
The initial pilot is limited to two families; additional requests may be waitlisted. We may revise pricing, availability, scope, or policies prospectively as the pilot reveals actual costs and capacity. Confirmed orders keep the price and terms communicated for that order unless you agree to a change.
